Grilled pound cake is a simple, surprisingly elegant summer dessert that can be made with store-bought or homemade pound cake. Serve it with fruit, ice cream, whipped cream, or even yogurt for a phenomenal end to any meal.
While the grill is heating, slice the pound cake into ¾-inch to 1-inch-thick slices.
Stir together the melted butter, honey, and salt. Brush this mixture over both sides of each slice of pound cake.
Place the cake slices on the grill. Grill for 3-5 minutes per side, or until toasted with deeply golden grill marks.
Serve warm with ice cream, grilled fruit, whipped cream, or your favorite topping.

If using salted butter, omit the pinch of salt.If using a frozen pound cake, such as Sara Lee, let the cake thaw according to package directions before you begin the recipe.
