Sear the Steak

Liberally salt & pepper sirloin steak. Brown the steak on all sides. Remove from pan and set aside.

Cook the Veggies

Deglaze the pan with white wine. Add in the onions, followed by the mushrooms. Toss in some garlic and thyme.

Slice the Steak

Thinly slice the seared steak and add it back to the pot with flour. This will make a roux to thicken the stroganoff.

Add the Stock

Pour in beef stock, along with Worcestershire sauce and dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer.

Add the Noodles

Stir in 12 ounces of wide egg noodles. Cover and simmer until the noodles are cooked through. Finish with sour cream and fresh herbs.
