I have and always will be a seasonal kind of girl. Many of my favorite kitchen and food memories are often related to the seasons. From weekly summer trips to roadside farmers’ stands with my mom to rolling a gazillion pumpkin rolls in the fall with my Nana – these moments all have seasonal connections. Along with these strong connections with seasonal foods, also comes a strong connection with scents.
Each time the seasons change, I obsessively revamp household scents – from candles, plugins, and hand soaps – right down to my personal perfume. In my opinion, as soon as the calendar flips to September, I am in full on fall mode. Digging through the closet for cardigans and putting away my flip flops until spring.
One of the best fall scents that I have across so far is this incredible Salty Caramel candle made by Slatkin for Bath and Body Works. It’s creamy, buttery scent will fill your home with an intoxicating fragrance that’s smells so good – you’ll almost want to eat it.
Not only does it smell all kinds of scrumptious, it’ also highly fragranced, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. Brian came home from work while it was lit and questioned what was baking – when he saw a clean kitchen and me watching an episode of Cupcake Wars – he came to the realization that Salted Caramel Cupcakes were not in his immediate future – just a caramely scented living room.
Do you have favorite fall scent? Let me know, because I’m totally jonesing for more!
This is NOT a sponsored post for Bath and Body Works or Slatkin, I simply love the product and think that you might too!
Yankee Candle Harvest is my favorite hands down. I can’t wait to dig that one out every year. It just screams fall, and since I live in Georgia where it doesn’t feel like fall until almost Christmastime, I like to burn it and pretend I’m still living in New England!
Oh I am also Scent crazy..
To me the world revolves around scents!
I have many many Yankee Candles and the wonderful amazing scents from Bath and body works….. I love lots of what I call Kitchen scents like cinnamon and pumpkin and apple and sugar cookie …Oh and I love the coffee ones to I’m not much of a coffee drinker but love the smell of it..Looks like I need a Salty Caramel :))
This scent sounds awesome! Clearly I need to go look for some new fall candles as the one sitting by my kitchen sink is “Cucumber Mint.” Not very fall-ish.
I LOVE fall scents! I have been guilty of hoarding pumpkin spice candles in every denomination (tealights, votives, pillars, etc.) because I love that smell so much. I have to check them by brand individually, because sometimes they can be too sweet, and not enough spice for my preference. All of the comments sound great, and I am waiting for it to be a little cooler to pull out my fall hand soaps (plus I feel like we need to use up the summer ones.) One thing I don’t understand is why companies like P&G don’t do more seasonal scents for dishwashing liquid. I would think people would love it!
My fave scent is Leaves! I like the room sprays better than the candles, candles never seem to keep their scent. But the sprays seem to last. And, yes, sometimes in the summer I spray the Leaves scent and wish it was autumn lol!!!
Sometimes you say exactly what I am thinking!!! I also LOVE the holiday scents. I really wish I could find a candle that smells like burning pumpkin, you know, like jack o’ lanterns on Halloween. But I am going to go get a Salty Carmel because it sounds AMAZING!!!! thanks for a great blog!!!!
OMG, YES! I already have some pumpkin candles out. My fave fall scents are pumpkin, cinnamon, apple, and caramel!! I didn’t know they had a salted caramel! That sounds so amazing!! I also change out plugins and hand soaps. I am counting down the days until Oct. 1st so I can put up Halloween decorations without looking like a fool!
I love caramel so this scent looks divine! might have to try it!
LOVE most the Bath and Body Works three wick candles. They smell up the whole house. My fall seasonal favorite is the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin – delish!
I’m not a huge fan of most food scents – but I am addicted to Scentsy for all of my scent needs. Right now I’m melting a lavender lemon in the bathroom, a tuscan in the kitchen and oxford in the laundry room.
