Delicious Hot Cocoa Mix complete with a festive printable tag is the perfect last minute gift idea.

Okay, so let’s talk about holiday shopping. Are you one of those amazing people that has your shopping completed and every gift beautifully wrapped under the tree? If so, I envy you. Our house is a disaster, we have nothing wrapped, and our baby is pretty much obsessed with shredding wrapping paper – whether it be on or off the presents.
Eric and I just completed the last of our shopping this afternoon. And after last minute trips to Target (hello, 4 lanes open with a 57 people in line), Bath & Body Works (sold out of everything Twisted Peppermint – sorry, Mom) – we’re going with Homemade Cocoa Mix for everyone else on our list!
If you’ve followed MBA for any length of time, you’re probably well aware of the fact that I have an affinity for anything and everything in a jar. From Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies to Cheesecake – jars are my jam! Especially when they’re filled with hot cocoa mix, Campfire® Mini Marshmallows and adorned with festive decor and adorable tags.
Although I love traditional hot cocoa, this year I wanted to add a little something extra. And since I’m a huge fan of peppermint bark, I thought why not toss a candy bar into the mix? And let me tell you, the results were amazing!
Because I feel for all of you last minute shoppers, we’ve created FREE printable tags for you! All you have to do is download the tags, print them on card stock, cut them out and you’re good to go. And even though I’m obsessed with the peppermint hot cocoa, we made a plain hot cocoa mix and printable tags for you hot cocoa purists!
Since hot cocoa isn’t hot cocoa unless it’s loaded with mini marshmallows, I decided to fill a small cellophane bag with Campfire® Mini Marshmallows and add them to each jar. As you may remember from my Cranberry Fluff post, I’ve teamed up with Emily from Jelly Toast and Campfire® Marshmallows. You’ll see more recipes and crafts from us in the new year! Be sure to check out Emily’s recipe for Marshmallow Fudge Bark – I got to taste a little piece of it and it was amazing!
We even created a Marshmallow Madness Pin Board where we’ll pinning loads of delicious marshmallow recipes from our favorite food sites.
For more information about Campfire® Marshmallows, find them on them on Facebook and Twitter.

1/2 cup quality cocoa powder
1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 cup Campfire® Mini Marshmallows
1 16-ounce jar with lid
small cellophane bags
festive twine, plastic bulbs, garland and printable tags

Measure all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Pulse until ingredients are combined and chocolate pieces are finely chopped. Funnel hot cocoa mix into clean jar. Place lid on jar and add festive decorations such as garland, plastic bulbs and printable tags.
