Have you guys caught on to the fact that I have a bit of a makeup addiction? The bulk of my collection are lip products. Yes, I’m calling it a collection because it makes me feel as though the plethora of products revolves around a hobby.
A few weeks ago, I was complaining about how heavy my purse was, so Eric literally picked it up and dumped it out onto the floor. As we sat criss-cross applesauce sifting through the ridiculous amount of stuff, we realized that I had 16 lip products – which admittedly is a very miniscule portion of my stash – tucked away in various zippers and compartments. I’m fairly certain he emailed the folks at TLC Hoarders that evening. Just saying.
At that moment, I decided that I needed to create a Lip Stuff edition of Friday Faves – I can’t possibly be the only girl with a crazy lip gloss/balm/stick collection, right? Come on, girls – make me feel better! That weekend I went through my stash and picked my absolute favorite products to share with you. Some are high end brands and others can be found at your local drugstore or on Amazon and I’m sure they’ll all help you create the perfect pout!
Must Mention
I have to say one of my fave products in this lot is the NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige. Contrary to the color name, this lip gloss is not a beige shade, but more a perfect pink color that’s great for everyday wear. It’s glossy, but not sticky and it’s pretty inexpensive. Love this stuff!

I’m totally a lip gloss/stick whore but I’m new to it so I only have one pouch full. One of my favorites is just a Burt’s Bees lip gloss that they don’t seem to have on their website. But I generally pick them up at Walgreen’s or gas stations. I love merlot for hooker lips, rhubarb for something more subdued, and guava for when I want a more girl pink. They’re nice & minty!
Me too! I have about 10 in my desk drawer right now. My favorite at the moment is Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede in Supermodel!
I always have to have lip balm and it just leaves my lips feeling so much better than lipstick. The problem is that I like the look of lipstick and gloss so I went on a hunt for tinted lip balm. I was disappointed with quite different brands until I found Neutrogena Revitalizing lip balm. It has the best texture and scent and now have it in multiple shades. It is more expensive than other lip balms, but I look at it as an average priced lip stick! Love it!
That bubblegum lip scrub from Lush looks awesome. I’ll definitely have to check it out.

The name is a bit rated R but it’s the best lipgloss I own. It’s orgasm by Nars. It is the best lipgloss I have. I love that it leaves the perfect sparkle, not to much but enough to make your lipstick stand out.

I totally love the NYX lipgloss! I have two similar colors from a bunko party and was gonna give one as a gift and decided to keep them both haha. I too have more lipgloss than I need.

no no no, take heart! You are NOT the only one. *raising hand* Hi, I’m Stephanie and I’m a lip gloss addict. I bought one of those little 3 drawer plastic bins and keep them in there as to not overload my purse but I have to purge the purse every week. I love love Baby Lips I have 5 different ones. Also Softlips balm and then I have Bare Escentuals Moxie glosses and Moxie lipstick in Get Ready. I have LOTS of others, but those are the highlights. I now feel the need to check out some of your faves. I’ve heard great things about the Sugar ones now I just need to buy some =D
