GOOEY BUTTER COOKIES

MIX THE WET INGREDIENTS

With an electric mixer, beat together softened cream cheese and softened butter. Beat in egg and vanilla.

ADD THE DRY

Mix in a box of yellow cake mix until combined. Chill the dough for 1 hour so it is easier to roll.

ROLL THE COOKIES

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and roll each ball in powdered sugar.

BAKE!

Place the cookies on a lined baking sheet and bake for 9-12 minutes. Cool on the baking sheet before moving to a wire rack. Dust with more powdered sugar if desired.
